Senior Peace Officer/ Investigator - Jason Hogan


 


Education/Training:

Investigator Hogan is a graduate of Scotia-Glenville High School and has studied Criminal Justice at Schenectady County Community College.  His professional interest has brought him into the world of animal welfare time and again.  He has worked as an Animal Control Officer in Clifton Park, NY and assisted in numerous veterinarian offices and animal shelters throughout the area.

As a peace officer, Investigator Hogan has undergone a very intense training program.  He has been trained in both basic and advanced animal cruelty investigation and animal control.  He has undergone a course which trained him on the relevant penal laws and criminal proceedings of New York State.  Hogan’s training in defense covers the use of firearms, an expandable baton and OC spray.  


Awards:

Investigator Hogan is a DCJS Firearms Training-Distinguished Expert.

 

Outside Activities:

Investigator Hogan is a member of numerous community organizations.

 

Animals Currently Owned:

Hogan is the proud owner of a black lab named Brewtis.


Specialty:

Investigator Hogan focuses his work on the area of animal control.
